G3BPs in Plant Stress

چکیده
The sessile nature of plants enforces highly adaptable strategies to adapt different environmental stresses. Plants respond these stresses by a massive reprogramming mRNA metabolism. Balancing fates, including translation, sequestration, and decay is essential for not only coordinate growth development but also combat biotic abiotic RNA stress granules (SGs) processing bodies (P bodies) synchronize metabolism optimum functioning an organism. SGs are evolutionarily conserved cytoplasmic localized RNA-protein storage sites that formed in response adverse conditions, harboring mostly always translationally inactive mRNAs. disassemble release mRNAs into active form upon relief. Ras G AP SH 3 domain b inding p roteins (G3BPs or Rasputins) “scaffolds” the assembly stability SGs, which receptor mediated signal transduction with role G3BPs formation well established mammals, poorly characterized. In this review, we discuss recent findings dynamics functions plant speculate on possible mechanisms such as transcription post-translational modifications might regulate function important family proteins.

Seed Priming With Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria Alleviate Salinity Stress In Wheat Plant
The objective of this paper was to study the effects of two strains of isolated plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on physiological and biochemical changes of wheat leaves under salinity conditions. The sterilized seeds were soaked in distilled water (control) and Nutrient Broth liquid medium of Enterobacter cloacae and Bacillus cereus (inoculated treatment) for 2 hours. After 10 days ...
متن کاملPlant Abiotic Stress
Abiotic stress such as cold, drought, salt, and heavy metals largely influences plant development and crop productivity. Abiotic stress has been becoming a major threat to food security due to the constant changes of climate and deterioration of environment caused by human activity. To cope with abiotic stress, plants can initiate a number of molecular, cellular , and physiological changes to r...
متن کاملPlant Salt Stress
Plant salt stress is a condition where excessive salts in soil solution cause inhibition of plant growth or plant death. On a world scale, no toxic substance restricts plant growth more than does salt. Salt stress presents an increasing threat to plant agriculture. Among the various sources of soil salinity, irrigation combined with poor drainage is the most serious, because it represents losse...

متن کاملPlant stress signalling: understanding and exploiting plant-plant interactions.
When plants are attacked by insects, volatile chemical signals can be released, not only from the damaged parts, but also systemically from other parts of the plant and this continues after cessation of feeding by the insect. These signals are perceived by olfactory sensory mechanisms in both the herbivorous insects and their parasites. Molecular structures involved can be characterized by mean...
